Our low-code family is growing. GroupDocs.Merger.LowCode brings seven new plugins that merge, split, and remove pages in PDF, Word (DOCX), and PowerPoint (PPTX) documents. Like our document conversion plugins, each one does a single job, takes a few lines of code, and costs $99 per plugin.

What’s in the Package

PluginClassWhat it does
Merge PDFJoinPdfAppends PDF documents to a source PDF document
Merge DOCXJoinDocxAppends Word documents to a source Word document
Merge PPTXJoinPptxAppends PowerPoint presentations to a source presentation
Split PDFSplitPdfSplits a PDF document into several PDF documents
Split DOCXSplitDocxSplits a Word document into several Word documents
Split PPTXSplitPptxSplits a presentation into several presentations
Remove PDF PagesRemovePagesPdfDeletes pages from a PDF document

Every plugin works with one format, takes its source document from a file path or a stream, and writes its result with a single Save call. The package runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux under .NET 6 or later.

Merge Documents in Three Steps

Install the package:

dotnet add package GroupDocs.Merger.LowCode

Then set your license, create the plugin, and save the result:

using GroupDocs.Merger.Domain.Options;
using GroupDocs.Merger.LowCode;

// Set your license
License.Set("GroupDocs.Merger.LowCode.lic");

// Append two chapters to the first one
var merger = new JoinPdf("chapter-1.pdf", new[] { "chapter-2.pdf", "chapter-3.pdf" }, new JoinOptions());

// Save the merged PDF
merger.Save("output/book.pdf");

Run your app, and output/book.pdf holds all three chapters in the order you listed them. JoinDocx and JoinPptx work the same way for Word documents and presentations.

Split Documents Your Way

The split plugins take the pages you want and write one document per part. You can pick specific pages, take a range, keep only its odd or even pages, or cut the document into parts at the pages you choose:

using GroupDocs.Merger.Domain.Options;
using GroupDocs.Merger.LowCode;

// One document per page: page_1.pdf, page_2.pdf, and page_3.pdf
new SplitPdf("report.pdf", new[] { 1, 2, 3 }).Save("output/page.pdf");

// New parts start at pages 7 and 13: part_0.pdf, part_1.pdf, and part_2.pdf
new SplitPdf("report.pdf", new[] { 7, 13 }, SplitMode.Interval).Save("output/part.pdf");

// One document per even page from 1 to 6
new SplitPdf("report.pdf", 1, 6, RangeMode.EvenPages).Save("output/even.pdf");

SplitDocx and SplitPptx take the same arguments, so splitting a Word document or a presentation into slides looks exactly the same.

Remove Pages from a PDF

RemovePagesPdf deletes the pages you don’t need and keeps the rest:

using GroupDocs.Merger.Domain.Options;
using GroupDocs.Merger.LowCode;

// Remove the cover page and the last two pages of a 20-page report
var remover = new RemovePagesPdf("report.pdf", new RemoveOptions(new[] { 1, 19, 20 }));
remover.Save("output/report-body.pdf");

Simple Licensing

Each plugin is licensed separately for a one-time $99 per developer—perpetual, royalty-free, with no subscriptions. You can try any plugin right away: without a license, only the first three pages are processed, and an evaluation message is added to every page. To test without these limits, request a free temporary license.
